Brigands of Mirkwood (#8090)
This is the first "adventure module" which actually pays more attention to adventures and a bit less to the territory described.
Brigands centers on the trade town of Strayhold in the southern Wilderlands (lying between Mirkwood and Mordor). Besides basic info on Strayhold there are also three adventures: "Excursion to the City of Strays", "Raid on the Clanhall of Rogues", and "The Castle of Leardinoth".
Notes on This Edition
Having used up the 8010,8020,8030,8040,8050,8060,8070,8080,8090 stock sequence, ICE then continued their "adventure module" series on with 8011,8012,etc. All of these latter modules would continue to be geographically based, but with a lesser focus on the background and a greater focus on the adventures, as with this module.
